We Made a Longhouse!

We’ve been plugging along with homeschool and learning about different Native Americans. We made a longhouse. It was a great project for these two to try to work together on. We will be coming back this week to maybe make clay plants and artifacts to go with the pueblos and the longhouse and hopefully will get started on making teepees next week.

We haven’t gotten about to making any dishes yet, but with how hectic these last couple weeks have been(birthdays, trips to grandmas, and a million appointments I had forgotten about) I decided that we will have a day where daddy is home to watch the little one and my older boys and I can cook several dishes from different Native American groups. We can put it all together in a meal and they can explain what each one is and where is originated from to their dad.
